Impressive-looking edifice, inside is a classic MOR High St pub. U shaped interior which looks fairly recently refurbished and is in good order; dark laminate wood, carpet, banquettes and a feature clock on a pillar by the bar. Downsides were aimless thuddy modern music, with the jaw-jaw of mute Sky Sports News on the multiple TVs. Lively but unthreatening clientele, a mix of middle aged and old boys hooked-up to the keg lines like a drip. Two pumps with one cask on, a pretty terrible Moorhouse Broomstick (NBSS 1) which I dumped for fear of my guts.

Quite a good traditional style pub. Real ales were available. Worth popping in if you're in Fleetwood.

Sadly for Ms CAMRA the Jack Rabbit wine is no longer sold here. They now sell a really nasty, cheap red wine which she said was as bad as any she'd ever had in a pub, it was from a new bottle as well. On the positive side they now sell a much more interesteing selection of changing cask ales and the Theakston beers have gone. They also had 4 ales available rather than 2. My pint was in good nick, so one of us was happy.

Recently refurbished pub on Fleetwoods main shopping street. Open plan with a couple of distinct areas, the pub is very sport orientated with lots of large screens around the place. A few years ago this was a bit of a dump, but it's much smarter now, although that doesn't apply to some of the clientele who were in on a Saturday night. There are two handpumps on the bar which were serving Theakstons Old Peculier and Lightfoot. The Lightfoot was OK and the other half was happy as they had Jack Rabbit red wine. It's a much improved pub and is worth a visit.
