Salt of the earth locals pub between the brewery and town centre, a no nonsense kind of places with all kinds of demands for good behaviour pinned to the wall. Not somewhere you would expect to find ale in good nick but there were a couple on. Karaoke kicking off at 8pm and all were in good spirits but it was our cue to say goodnight.

A two room, flat iron shaped pub, lots of screens in the main bar where the counter is and at least one more in a smaller bar next door. A pleasant locals pub it has three pulls unexpectedly serving the products of small local breweries rather than the national brands you might have expected. You can also enjoy “Coweoake” at weekends.

A fairly standard pub. There are 2 rooms. To the right of the bar is a pool room. The bar room is a basic room with a dart board staring straight at you. 3 handpumps on the bar with Bowland Hen Harrier, Doghouse cappuccino stout and Beer Monkey Uncle Monk on today.
