Steve C left this review about The Top Bull

The Top Bull is a traditional pub with a public bar to the right that houses a pool table, jukebox and quiz machine. To the left is a larger lounge bar where there is some comfortable seating and the walls are adorned with prints, china dishes, brass pots etc. Plasma screens are found throughout and Sky Sports is shown. Only one of these screens was on and it was showing muted Sky Sports News whilst some low background music played off the jukebox. The pub is clean and tidy, but the gent’s toilet could do with a spray because I don’t think I have ever seen so much black mould in one place.
The bar is stocked with standard draught and one of the two hand pumps was unused leaving Bank Top’s Old Slapper as the lone ale option. I didn’t see any food advertised during my recent Wednesday evening visit. I didn’t see a beer garden advertised either, but there are three picnic tables outside the front of the pub.

I found the service here to be friendly and would return if passing.
