Steve C left this review about The Rosehill Tavern

The Rose Hill Tavern is a Holts pub with a central front U-shaped bar that faces recently refurbished brown banquettes to the right and rear. to the left is a laminate floor area with a pool table, dartboard and DJ equipment. Smooth radio was playing in the background, hopefully the DJ plays something a little more interesting. Televisions are located throughout for showing live football. The toilets at the rear have some nice new tiling, again it feels like they have been recently refurbished. This is a Holts pub so the three hand pumps were all badged with Bitter and the usual keg was available. The bar also supports a pie heater, that was empty due to my evening visit. There seemed to be a decent crowd in, especially being so close to Daisy Hill Railway Station. Unfortunately I overheard one of the gutless locals at the bar call me a CU Next Tuesday as the door closed behind me as I left. It’s a real shame because this pub seems to have had some money spent on it, but I suppose you can’t polish a turd. I’ll not be spending any more money in here.
