Steve C left this review about The Canary Tavern

The Canary Tavern is a long thin pub with a bar along the left hand wall that serves standard draught products. There is a pool table and dartboard at the rear and during my visit on Wednesday evening last week there was a pool league match in progress. There is a plasma screen that was showing music videos and a jukebox that was also playing music so in some parts of the pub there was a clash of sounds. At the front of the pub is a raised seating area with a second dartboard.
Down the left hand side of the pub are a few picnic tables and a smoking area.

I found the service to be friendly and the other punters to be harmless enough, but I think that this pub is aimed at the younger inhabitants of the area. I feel that there are pubs better suited to my tastes in the immediate area so I do not plan a return visit anytime soon.
