Rob Hunter left this review about The Beehive

This is a Greene King carvery type place. Visited at weekend but was for a private function so we were in the room upstairs, which has a separate bar, though no cask. I went for the Guinness, then decided to take a look downstairs to see what cask beers were available, only to discover both pump clips turned round. They looked like they would have been fairly standard Greene King food pub offerings (Greene King IPA, Abbot Ale, maybe Old Speckled Hen) so perhaps no great loss there and I stuck with the Guinness.

Service upstairs was friendly and the barmaid remembered what I was drinking. Service was efficient despite some large rounds going through the till!

Despite all this I can't say the pub is somewhere I would plan on returning to or seeking out, unless I happened to be in the area and fancied some carvery fayre.
