A new coast of paint aside, this one remains a bog-standard GK food/kids/sports pub. A middling pint of the Rockin' Rudolph (NBSS 2.5) this time.

Fairly uninspiring multi-level Greene King outlet that goes for the generic tick-box. Usually three GK ales on the go, quality hit-and-miss depending on which licensee the revolving door has ushered in that week. A good bet for the footer but avoid on certain evenings when the karaoke is in full swing and weekends when the punters are younger, lairy and shouty. Staff can disappear into thin air like Paul Daniels in his prime. Briefly called the Pickled Newt!
