I thought this might be a Marston's pub but according to What Pub it's owned by Admiral. Inside it's a square room with darts, jukebox and TV screens and TV Sport advertised. There was a noisy soundtrack playing but no sign of any Ale Trailers.
The bar has six hand pumps which had two unused, Marston's New World Pedigree and Burton Bitter, Doom Bore and Ossett Vivienne May. I went for the Ossett beer (£3.20) which was first class.
Rather like the Commercial the TV screens spoil this place but the single quality beer does carry it through.

The Britannia Inn is a three storey stone built pub that is fairly close to Mossley train station.
Once inside the pub had two seperate rooms, there was a decent sized bar which was quite a nice room to have a drink in,the seperate lounge looked quite smart.
The pub was a Marstons tied house when i went in it,there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Marstons bitter which was a decent drink, the other beer was Pedigree.
I am pleased i did the pub all those years ago,it looked a lot better from the outside then.
