Old Boots left this review about Black Horse Tavern

Larger corner pub, opened out into a single space with a pool room to the front left as you enter then a raised seating area. To the right is the main bar, counter at the rear with a T-bar of standards and a Moretti solo, two pulls with Abbot and Deuchars, smelling a little of cow poo. Clean and tidy with an Accrington Stanley shrine and a number of screens and a bandit. Leather armchairs of the posh type or if you prefer there are high tables and stools, the raised area has banquette and short stools. Tartan carpet and laminate flooring, the standard old photos decor. Friendly enough but let down by the beer choice.

Now opened again as The Black Horse Tavern with the usual suspects of beer kegs plus 2 hand pumps, although on my visit only one was operational.

Not a pub. Don't be fooled by the exterior this is a coffee & cake place. No beer.
