Ian Mapp left this review about The Three Tuns

Smart gastro pub with immaculate patio'd garden and setup mainly for diners who are prepared to make the trip to this small village.

Goachers Gold Star in fine condition and a lot of hand pull ciders nearly lured me into their applely charms.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Three Tuns

Popular food-led pub where I was lucky to get a table in the modernised patio beer garden mid-afternoon on a Friday. Due to the current coronavirus restrictions I wasn't able to see much of the traditional bar and dining area in a building said to date back to 'circa 1470'. Two real ales from Goachers - Mild (£3.95, and in fine form) and Gold Star - plus a couple of Kentish ciders available from four of the five handpumps.

E TA left this review about The Three Tuns

The Three Tuns is a large village pub, lively and friendly and serving many different kinds of customer. The staff are welcoming, the pub dog is affable and the locals good company if a little eclectic. I didn't try the food, but it has a reputation for being extremely good and is popular with local famillies. The beer was OK, but it's not a pub which trades on its beer reputation. There were two ales on - Courage Best and Exmoor Stag, both drinkable but not brilliant. Worth coming for a meal (food isn't served all the time so it's worth checking before coming out to eat) and a quiet pint in convivial surroundings, or just dropping in when passing, but I wouldn't include on a crawl as it's a bit out of the way.
