The Gore Court Arms is a large L-shaped pub that was hosting two dart league matches during a recent Tuesday evening visit. The ladies team was playing on the dartboard to the right of the central front entrance and the men were playing on the board to the right. Another dartboard is found at the rear adjacent to a pool table. The pub’s events board has darts and pool being played every night. On the rear wall to the left of the central bar counter is a stone fireplace that wouldn’t look out of place in a fairytale cottage. There was some 1970/80s music playing, but surprisingly there is no live sport advertised to watch, I suppose everyone is too busy actually playing live sport, if indeed darts is actually a sport… of course it is!
I liked it in here and would certainly use it if I lived in Sittingbourne. However, the limited standard keg range and only TT landlord being available from the three hand pumps will turn a lot of people off.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Gore Court Arms

Busy locals boozer in a prominent position at a road junction on the southern outskirts of the town. Features a slightly irregular U-shaped bar with traditional furniture but otherwise limited decor (apart from some general clutter, here and there). Just London Pride (£3.60) available from a trio of handpumps.

The Gore Court is a lively local in a decent residential area, originally built in the Victorian period but extended several times since then. It now consists of a single J-shaped bar which is mostly carpeted with a small floor-boarded games area. the games area hosts a dartboard and pool table. The decor is a bit tired and the carpet faded, but the staff are pleasant and the welcome is warm. A few of the locals were a bit hostile at first - the sign saying "No Smoking - if we see smoke we will assume you are on fire" was pointed out to us in no uncertain terms, but that soon passed. There were two tv screens but both were switched off. Posters advertise regular entertainment and plenty of theme nights. There were three taps on the bar, but only one ale on - Mills's Kentish Ale, a new one on me, which was served at a proper temperature, well-kept and very tasty. Worth dropping in for a pint, and I'd be happy to include on a crawl.
