Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Beach
Not quite on the seafront, this is a sizeable pub with a dark-brick exterior and little natural light inside. The three-part interior does little to brighten things up, but is quite nicely done in its own way. Enclosed and part-covered front patio seating area in what once have been the car park. Pool table. Food served and a decent pint of Landlord (£4.40) available from one of the two handpumps on different parts of the counter.

E TA left this review about The Beach
A good sized seaside pub a stone's throw from the beach, with its own carpark and outdoor seating. The single long bar has a pool table at one end and a mix of laminate and carpeted flooring. It is very 1980s in look and feel. There was a collection of Army paraphernalia around the walls, much of it Guards oriented in honour of a local man killed in action, and the pub purports to be Army friendly. The locals were very stand-offish. The staff, while initially friendly, were very reluctant to engage in conversation. There were 3 ales on. I had a pint of Tribute which was too cold, badly kept and had a distinct 'chemical' flavour to it. There was live music on, but this was bland and uninspiring. Probably fine to drop in after a walk along the beach, but I wouldn't bother coming here especially.
