Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Aviator

Formerly a landmark roadhouse; now partially bypassed, but with plenty of signage in the area so you are unlikely to miss it. Anyway, it is a substantial place, and not totally wrecked by the various modernisations that have taken place over the years. The bar area remains at the front, with a canteen-like area to one side and the pusher main dining area to the rear. Also has some patio tables at the front and to one side. As a Shepherd Neame pub, it was disappointing to just find Spitfire available from the four handpumps, but at least that was in good shape (£5.50 with a packet of peanuts).

A rambling modern Shepherd and Neame pub on a busy road junction, plenty of parking but a bit off-putting for walkers and cyclists. Inside there are gaming machines, pleasant staff and little by way of atmosphere despite the assortment of aviation-related clutter adorning the walls. It has a large garden where you can sit and watch the lorries go by, and a children's playground. Staff were a bit offhand but still efficient enough. There were three ales on. I had a pint of Earlybird which was reasonable but not brilliant. OK to drop in if passing.

The Aviator is a family friendly Shepherd Neame establishment somewhat in the middle of nowhere, hence a large car park and leaning towards dry sales. Amongst the usual SN draught is Fosters and one of the four hand pumps was unused leaving Spitfire, Master Brew and Late Red as the ale options.

I found the two barmaids to be very friendly and I would have no problem popping back in for a pint if passing, but the location dictates that this isn't very likely.
