Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Rose & Crown Inn

Very traditional village pub slightly off (but signposted from) the A259 trunk road. Quite a plain-looking façade, but exactly what you might expect inside the partly opened-out L-shaped interior of one of the larger Romney Marsh hostelries (with a 1930s feel in this case). However, there is also a newer dining area tacked onto one side. I found a duplicated selection of Greene King IPA (£3.80) and a pair of local Biddenden ciders - Bushels and Red Love - from the two banks of three handpumps.

E TA left this review about Rose & Crown Inn

Just off the main road into Lydd, the Rose and Crown is sufficiently rural to be a pleasant watering hole away from the town. It sells superb beer, offers a warm welcome and is a nice place to spend the afternoon. Once again I sampled the Rother Valley which was well kept, and the Kentish cider which is always a treat (first cider this year and very pleasant too). I'm always pleased to come back here and can recommend it for a meal, a quiet pint and a chat.
