Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bailiffs Sergeant

Shepherd Neame pub in a rather uninspiring seaside village, and on a side road so not immediately obvious from the beach area. The partly opened-out, two-room interior has been given a basic refurbishment at some stage, with the main entrance leading into what is now the pool room, and the tidy bar off to the left. Beyond that, a colourful beer garden adds some interest. With Master Brew and the 'cask club' Citra Smack (£4.10) available from two of the three handpumps I wasn't expecting great things, but the latter was in excellent condition.

E TA left this review about The Bailiff Sergeant

The Bailiff Sergeant is a 1970s-style pub (though the building may be a bit older) charaterised by painted concrete beams, a large repro inglenook fireplace complete with oak lintel and an estate-type feel to it. The floors are part carpeted, part boarded, the decor sobre. It's too far off the main road for passing trade, so it's mainly locals who use it and it has a slightly cliquey feel as a result. There is a pool table, dart board and staff who are easy on the eye. Also lots of darts trophies, so there is clearly an enthusiasm for the sport here. No real ale on on this occasion, so while it's ok to drop in if you happen to be here (there are no other pubs within spitting distance) I wouldn't come here especially.
