E TA left this review about The Three Crutches

As described by JAQPTIO below, this town pub also has a decent sized car park, though most of their custom is local. No real ale when we visited, as the one choice – Landlord – had gone off before we arrived. The best they could offer was Neck Oil, while the other choices were Guinness, Heineken and Moretti, all served by a semi-competent teenage barman. There was a TV showing live football, while the locals were quick to engage in friendly banter. They serve a fairly standard pub menu, well cooked and popular, and we were lucky enough to get some free roast potatoes left over from Sunday lunch. The ale situation let it down, but otherwise it’s a decent enough place.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Three Crutches

Formerly a way-point on the original line of the A2 (Watling Street), now in a cul-de-sac at the western extremity of the Medway Towns conurbation. Still looks traditional enough from the road, but given an unexpected and very light makeover inside. The main bar along the frontage is set a road level, but the various seating / dining areas further back are lower, including a small lounge down another couple of steps. Sizeable beer garden to the rear. Just Doom Bar (£3.90) available from the three handpumps.
