Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Huntsman

Substantial brick-built pub with a partly opened-out two-part bar at the front and a separate lounge further back on the left-hand side. Plenty of semi-modern furniture in all areas, but the decoration is probably pretty sparse without with current festive lighting. Just London Pride available from the three handpumps, but this was in good shape despite being offered at just £2.00 as per the handwritten sign.

E TA left this review about The Huntsman

The Huntsman is a large 1930s estate pub in a residential area. At the front is a large carpeted, wood-panelled bar with a few tables for diners nd lots of space for vertical drinkers. There is a chimney and ope fire in the middle, a second open fire at one end and a couple of gaming machines. To the rear is a function room which doubles as a games room as it has a pool table in it. They host various live acts and private parties as well as being the hub of the local community. There is a standard range of pub meals, not too expensive. Three handpumps on the bar but only one ale available, Hobgoblin, which was on the verge of going off. A good bog standard town pub which provides a valuable service to its locals and regulars.
