Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Rose Inn
Traditional High Street pub with a single bar area but a lot of outdoor seating available along the side patio (much of this under cover of a marquee). The counter is dominated by a ceramic Estrella Galicia font, somewhat eclipsing the single handpump offering a reasonable pint of Old Speckled Hen (£4.30).

E TA left this review about The Rose Inn
The Rose dates back to around 1790 and comprises a fine Georgian building with a garden to one side. It has previously had a reputation for real ales and is a freehouse. Imagine my disappointment then: you hear the awful noise as you approach, loud 'music' and shouting. Inside is a melee of mostly under-25s yelling at each other to make themselves heard. The single carpeted bar is badly maintained, there is no real ale on draft, although there are a few bottled ales. The staff are easy on the eye but young and inefficient. All in all it was not a pleasant experience and I do not intend to come back in the near future.
