A fairly simple Brakspear pub with a fairly straightforward line-up of darts, tv sports, pool room, papers and a kids play garden. Pretty spartan bar area. Three pumps, two ales on; Brakspear Bitter and Jennings Bullseye. The latter was awful, clearly been sat in the pump for hours. After taking it back they admitted as much - so why not pull it through at the start of the session? Useless. Eventually got a more acceptable half if not exactly brilliant. Didn’t strike me as a pub going places.
