A sizable somewhat opened out pub inside, smartly furnished and spacious with a centrally placed bar, the room wrapping around it. There are three handpumps on the bar with two beers available on my visit both from Timothy Taylor, Boltmaker and Knowle Spring, the latter was in reasonable condition. It's a pleasant enough pub but nothing special and I wouldn't aim to make a dedicated return.

A nice-looking Victorian pub from the outside with the interior tastefully refurbished in a bright style but retaining some traditional furnishings and fittings. The pub is U-shaped round a central bar with a back area housing a dartboard and a side area leading into a patio and garden. Unclear if permanent or just guesting but there was advertising for the Ascot Brewing Company and the handpumps held three of their ales and in very fine form too. Handy for the station and quite acceptable.

Seems to have settled into having Upham beer as regular and the quality is good (although Upham beers are not my cup of tea) but a downside is the expense, on-par with the Duke now. Still, it's good to see this place finally becoming a pub people actually want to go to and good luck to them.

Big changes here - a fairly good refurb has taken place, the garden tidied-up, the punters scrubbed a bit and the arrival of a local ale - from Binghams - that drank well earlier this week even if the price was ludicrously high. Interesting.

The weakest of the three (four if you count Ruscombe) pubs in the area. The inside is dank, shabby and the beer quality is often as iffy as the punters - indeed if it is on at all. There is a TV tuned in for sports and there's often a smelly dog of some description wandering round. Given how close it is to the station I'm surprised more effort hasn't gone into making the pub a more attractive prospect for those who have a 20 minute wait for a train. If this place was better Twyford would have a cracking set of pubs to choose from...
