Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about East Kent Arms

Basic town-centre boozer, with a staple-shaped layout at 90° to the pedestrianised street outside. The bar extends along most of the long side, with a small lounge area in the front branch and a pool table in the rear one. Slightly surprisingly, I found Landlord (£4.40) being served from one of the pair of handpumps.

The East Kent Arms is a high street boozer with a bar that runs along the right hand wall where standard draught products can be purchased. The main body of seating is located along the front windows and in the left rear of the pub past the toilets is a pool table. Plasma screens are found throughout and Sky Sports is shown. During my Monday afternoon visit there was some background music playing whilst all of the plasma screens were muted.
Food is served daily from 11:30 until 14:30, but my visit was after the kitchen had closed so I didn’t see any menus or prices. I would imagine that the food is standard pub grub and it isn’t very expensive.
On Sunday and Thursday evenings this pub hosts Big Kev’s Karaoke House Party.

I thought that the service was friendly enough, but some of the locals were a little too well-oiled for a Monday afternoon. I would walk past if I found myself in the area again.

A local high street pub offering karaoke, pool and megakeg (no real ale at all) in the single carpeted bar. There are tables in the street at the front which are more of a barrier than a draw. Staff were quite abrupt, customers mostly raucous. It's cliquey, unwelcoming and shabby. The décor lacks any interest. There are so many better pubs just a few yards away, so why bother?
