E TA left this review about Brents Tavern

A large local pub, originally a fine Georgian town house. There is a steep, unkempt garden leading to the litter-strewn entrance patio which serves mainly as a smoking area as the view of the creek has now been obscured by buildings. Inside, there is a U-shaped bar formed from knocking through three of the ground floor rooms, while a fourth small room now serves as a games room with pool table. There is an off-licence entrance at the back, once a Bottle-and-Jug door. The locals were very welcoming, making the effort to chat to us, including the gang of large, drunk females whose mission in life was to consume the county's entire stock of Jaegermeister and Sambucca. The landlady, Liz, and the barmaid, Rachael, both went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Two ales on draft, Rudolph's Reward and Masterbrew, neither in perfect condition but both drinkable. The prices were impressive – the cheapest beer by far in Faversham. It's homely, not necessarily a destination of choice, but I'd be happy to drop in when passing.
