E TA left this review about The Albion Taverna

An expensive Shephard and Neame pub on the side of the creek in sight of the Brewery. There is a car park at the back and a large garden which includes a pleasant lawn and a seating patio with various tables and benches. The building has 17th Century roots showing in its exposed beams. It's mainly geared towards diners, and the theme is Mexican food. Ales on draft were Masterbrew, Yard 18 Rudolph's Reward, Spitfire Gold and there was a pump marked 'Whitstable Bay – Coming Soon'. The beer was in good condition but priced around 30% higher than other pubs within staggering distance. The perfidious prices and pretentious platters will put me off returning.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Albion Taverna

Looks great from the outside, in an old-fashioned weatherboarded Kentish pub sort of way. Inside, the 'L'-shaped bar area has been refurbished in a more modern pale timber style. Some nice seating out front from which to watch the world go by on a fine day. Also has a beer garden. Specialises in Mexican food. As a Shepherd Neame house, Master Brew, Spitfire, Whitstable Bay and the festive Diamond Jubilee ale were available (with the fifth handpump in the process of being changed over).

Now known as the Albion Taverna, where you can experience the exciting colours and flavours of Mexican cuisine in the waterfront setting of historic Faversham.
