Located on the pedestrianised shopping street in Deal its nowadays a single internal space and you enter into the wooden floored bar area and then there are carpeted seating areas to the left and right with the one on the right housing an impressive stone fireplace and looking like it could have been a separate room back in the day. Good traditional pub decor with dark beams, crème walls and the usual dark red axminster carpet, although both the carpet and the soft furnishings had signs of having seen some life.
Usual keg draft offerings alongside two ale pumps which were dispensing Deuchars IPA and Fullers London Pride and my half of Pride was fairly average.
This is a pub that serves a purpose and I have to try to be fair to it, but in truth I was already pissed off having found my target of the Tap House Beer Cafe round the corner closed on a Tuesday and the New Inn didn’t really lift my mood a great deal

Very busy town centre pub that can get packed at lunch time.2 real ales on offer.
