Now residential, the site over-developed.

Previously The New Fox to distinguish it from the now defunct Old Fox, The Fox is a very friendly traditional local with a single bar, an outside smoking area and a good regular client base. It has plenty of car parking space. There is no real ale but a few decent bottled beers are available. The outside is a bit bland, so it's hard to tell whether it's open, and the hours aren't regular. It's fine if you're in the area, but I don't think I'd be tempted to make the effort too often.

The Fox is a decent sized L shaped pub with a dartboard, pool table and jukebox. It doesn’t open until 16:00 during the week so I was the only customer when I walked in just after 16:00 one day before Christmas. I found the service to be very friendly and I liked the layout of the pub as it had a welcoming feel. I can imagine that there is a good atmosphere at busier times.
The one major drawback with this pub is the lack of real ale, but that doesn’t bother me that much.

This pub is a little out of the way for me to plan a revisit, but if I lived locally I would certainly drink here.
