Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Chequer Inn
Village centre pub, recently reopened for the benefit of the community. It retains a traditional layout, with the bar at the front and a semi-separate dining room up a few steps to the back on one side. Refurbished in an unexpectedly light style, and the decoration might look rather sparse once the Christmas paraphernalia has gone? Anyway, London Pride and Harvey's (£3.80) available from two of the four handpumps, with the latter being good value unlike the salted peanuts which would have been £2.00 had I not declined...
