Quinno _ left this review about The Bell At Boxford

A lovely turn-of-the-century building with a homely, atmospheric interior. Drinking area to the right, with a further room off to the left through a brick arch. Very cosy inside, dimly lit with large candles on tables. Hops draped off every beam, lots of prints and brewerania on the walls. Six Nations rugby on a big screen in the drinking area above the fireplace. Full of character…and oddballs. Nutters included an old lady seemingly talking to no-one in particular and the Coughing Man which elicited fits of giggles from Desmond and myself. Two ales, West Berks GOB (good nick) and a West Berks seasonal. Top quality bogs, Bardot and Monroe prints in the gents. Further down the corridor past the loos is a room with pool table (unlit). Weird place but good beer and plenty of quirky charm put this one on the list for revisit.
