E TA left this review about Crown & Pepper

As described below, it’s an Edwardian townhouse within walking distance of Bromley South station. The rear has been substantially extended into a large annex which looks like the inside of a Scout hut but full of tightly crammed in tables. Most of the floor has been covered in an industrial-grade wooden laminate, with ramps to assist prams, Zimmers, wheelchairs and (possibly, in the spirit of inclusivity) Daleks. The place stinks, literally rather than metaphorically – heaps of stale fag ends by the door as you enter, but worse, the interior reeks of stale curry; it’s not pleasant. Food appears to be delivered rather than freshly cooked – Deliveroo was very much in evidence. Two pumps on the bar, as before: XB was off, the Deuchres was past its best but still just about potable. The staff were far from welcoming, the locals were interested only in watching football on the multiple tv screens. I shan’t bother again.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Crown & Pepper

The Crown and Pepper is a short walk from Bromley South train station.
Once inside there is a single long oblong shaped room which runs to the rear, the bar is on the right side, there are tall tables and chairs to the front and normal tables and chairs elsewhere, there is a bench seat to the rear.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Theakston XB which was a decent enough drink, the other beer was Deuchars IPA.
This pub was ok for a quick drink.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Tigers Head

Attractive - if plainly painted - facade, behind which lies an elongated rectangular bar which is much larger than frontage would suggest due to single-storey rear extension housing several sports TV screens and two pool tables at the rear. Refurbished inside and out, with a Thai food menu and a short wine list but no real ale from the two disused handpumps. Not even any John Smiths available, so I resorted to a quick half of Strongbow (£1.80) and had a brief chat with the friendly landlady (but afterwards I still wasn't clear what her target market is). A bit of a strange one.
