Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Red Lion

Very distinctive building in the centre of St Peter's, although the modernised interior has lost a lot of character. It has now been opened out to leave one main bar with enough room for a pool table, with its famous parrot squawking away at one end. I found Sharps Atlantic (£3.60, and so-so) and Otter Ale being dispensed from the pair of handpumps.

Aqualung . left this review about The Red Lion

Unsurprisingly this has been converted into a single room that is long and roughly L shaped with the bar on the left. It's carpeted throughout with a pool table at the far end, darts and a juke box. I found a seat to the left of the entrance where there is an old Bass mirror and a grand-daughter clock.
There are two hand pumps which had Marston Bombardier and a hand written XPA. I went for the XPA which cost three pound something and I'm guessing was the Exmoor one as it was on the sweet side.
This is a fairly standard village local that I probably wouldn't return to.
