Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Lanthorne

Typical Thorley Taverns pub, with thoroughly traditional furniture and decor (including a good selection of local history photographs) in the two-part 'U'-shaped bar area. As expected, there are also some modern features such sports TV screens, music at a slightly annoying level and a refurbished beer garden at the back. Disappointingly, just Doom Bar (£2.00, half) available from the three handpumps.

Graham Coombs left this review about The Lanthorne

Set in the residential area away from the sea, this is very much a community pub, well supported by the locals, with traditional pub furnishings. Inside, the pub extends round a central bar, showing signs of the original separate rooms but now all connected, with pool and darts round the back and a beer garden at the rear. Draught ales included one from Gadds, although this was not in the best of form when sampled.
