Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Albion

The former Hogs Head has been reopened, under the temporary management of the Four Candles micro-pub opposite for the folk festival period, having also reverted to its former name. Tidy, uncluttered and plainly decorated interior in the bar, with the smaller side room not currently in use. I found the 'house' Albion Bitter (£1.80, half) on one of the four handpumps, with the American IPA also available from a box on the counter. The future is unclear at the moment, so lets hope it keeps going in some form.

Aqualung . left this review about The Hogs Head

Although I stopped off here primarily to visit the Four Candles micropub I thought I would look at this place. It's a roughly L shaped single room that is carpeted and has a pool table over to the right. A large TV was turned off.
The bar has four hand pumps which had three unused leaving just the Marston Bomabardier. There was nobody behind the bar so after waiting a while I beat a retreat to the Four Candles across the road rather than drink something I would rather avoid.
