Large and solid pub with impressive chimneys, standing by a road junction. Nicely furnished throughout and decorated in usual shades of grey. There are several different drinking areas round the central bar and a side room which is available for functions. Large garden at rear. Draught ales at time of visit were St Albans Classic, Tring Side Pocket, St Austell Tribute and GK St Edmunds.

The Crown is a large pub that is fairly close to St Albans tran station but away from the middle of town.
Once inside the bar faces in an L shaped room which is part carpeted and bare boarded,there is bench seating and chairs and normal tables and chairs for seating,the left side extends to the rear.
There is a separate function room to the front right.
There were five real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Castle Rock Harvest Pale,which was a decent drink,the other real ales were Tring Side Pocket,Purity Mad Goose,Wadworth 6X and St Austell Tribute.
The TVs were showing rugby and background music was playing.
I was quite happy having my last drink in this pub.

Large pub on a roundabout near St Albans City train station. Four handpumps offering Doom bar, Youngs, Deuchars and Mad Goose. Food available, outside patio, quiz nights and occasional live music. Child friendly, pool table and table football. WiFi with a code.

I'ts a brill Boozer although i'm possibly slightly biased as i'm the new guv'nor (thanks vicky for leaving me an uptogether pub,)3D tv's and outside telly so u can watch liverpool get relegated and still smoke the kitchen will re-open tomorrow and we have letting rooms should you decide not to drive home (wise idea me thinks) all the sky u could want and every televised sport imageable = possibly spelt wrong
