I have used this pub both for entertaining friends and just for the odd pint or two for myself. I am new in the area and was made to feel quite welcome when I first walked in. The menu is surprisngly extensive for a 'country' pub and the quality very good. The manager and bar staff are great. It also serves Old Speckled Hen which must be a goiod thgiung. There is a large car park at the side. They also cater for functions in a huge marquee.
