ORIGINAL REVIEW December 2010.
A street corner local but with few original features and pvc windows. There is a pool table to the left of the corner door ,couple of tables and a small serving area.Through the arch to your right is the bar and a smallish L shaped area with crome bar stools and a few more tables. It doesnt take many regulars to make this place seem busy, and there is a laddish atmosphere stoked up by a loud sound system and further enhanced by three Sky Sports screens. Two handpumps with a GK IPA clip reversed and an indifferent St Austells Tribute.Friendly welcome from the landlord but very much a local pub for local people.

UPDATE
A recent visit found the inside much as before, but a more friendly atmosphere , less intrusive flatscreens and music supplied by a juke box with some excellent selections across the years. When "I am a Cider Drinker" came on,all customers spontaneously joined in the chorus.Friendly welcome and although only one of the two handpumps was working,a first class pint of Wychwood Hobgoblin was delivered.A good community local.
