A great surprise to find this place on the way home from work. I've been back several times as the food is excellent and they keep a good selection of ale. Nice place to chill or celebrate. Good luck to the new owners.

Now re-opened and completey refitted throughout for meeting & eating. Decor & food menu is really very nicely done but all a little pricey. Perhaps it's intentionally trying to be exclusive, a risky strategy in these relatively hard times. I hope it doesn't backfire, I like the place a lot and think it has great potential.

Tim Upton-O'Good left this review about The Swan Inn

Was for many years the best pub in the town by far, but a reasonably well kept secret. Well packed any night of the week with punters from all over the place. Declined slowly due to external forces then dramatically after long standing Licensee, Bette and mum May left for pastures new. Never really recovered.
