Well deserving of the 'old' in the pub title as the building dates back to 1615 and it's an interesting place to have a look around. There are multiple rooms including the Churchill Lounge, the Henry VIII Room (there are allegedly secret tunnels leading to the church opposite), and a room lined with old hunting murals. Cask Marque approved and the Adnams was good. In a sort of old/young juxtaposition there is Sky TV, dartboard, golf and gaming machines plus a free bus to the local nightclub at the weekend. But the old and the new sit fairly well together.
