Quinno was right, rougher than a badgers arse, as were most the attendees on a Sunday afternoon, the token ale was Doom Bar,for what its worth well looked after, the punters near legless and very sweary. The plus point was that the pub Rottweiler ( the four legged one) was friendly.
Not likely to return.

Rough as a badgers backside, full of oddballs and grunters watching horse racing in a grubby interior with patchwork carpet. A token ale on (Courage, I recall), which was in surprisingly average condition - I wouldn't have thought anyone in here would drink it. So there's a bonus mark there.
Probably best avoided.
