Monday lunchtime visit. A few regulars were inside, seems to be a cabby favourite, even has cab firm nameplate in parking area reserved

Two hand puls, London Pride & Ringwood best, I had Ringwood at £2.85, a reasonable pint but I think the Pride would have been a better choice. Rest is usual standard keggy stuff, JS Smooth, lager etc

One large L shaped knocked through bar, with a semi partioned area fro pool, darts etc, children not allowed in that bit according to signage

Plenty of seating, with tables, seems to be food orientated as the table arrangement is 4 chairs per table, and tables in rows

Note said food available however I never saw a menu, but a cabby was eating a bacon sarnie so seems one only has to ask

Car parking at front is a bit limited, sign on pub door saying parking permit available from bar, maybe they are busy at night? There used to be a Co-op store nearby, so perhaps that was why? Anyway I just parked without any problems at all

Buses run by the pub, bus stop is very near, however not one I would go out of my for, nothing outstandingly good or bad about this pub, it is just a local pub, full stop
