Previously The Osborne, this former pub is now an 'entertainment bar' in a busy nightlife area. A charge is levied to enter after midnight. The bouncers on the door insisted on searching us on entry, then we entered a poorly lit but spacious area with mirrored walls, a bar counter and some seats at the side occupied by 3 ladies who were, I am sure, just about of legal age but who seemed to have forgotten to dress before leaving home. It seems these ladies were of Eastern European origin so must have been here on holiday or a cultural tour, as they offered to demonstrate their countries' traditional dances – Pole and Lapp – to us. As there was no real ale on offer we declined and left. In future I shall give Kingsley a miss.

Still looking for food, spotted menu and seemed good choice.

First mistake, don't serve food on Saturdays

Had a pint of Hole Hearted from Gosport brewery, that was very tasty, shame about the lack of food otherwise this would have got a few more stars from me

Feb 2009 No longer the Osborne, renamed as Kingsley's and also calls itself an "Entertainment bar". Not been inside since changed
