A rather basic street corner pub, single roomed with wood floor and white walls and basic seating . A number of darts trophies are lined up on a high shelf so I guess the dart board see's some action. The pub was empty on my arrival 15 minutes into opening time on a Sunday, four pumps on the bar all clipped but were doubled up with Pride and HSB. There was nothing to this pub that made me want to hang around to long.

A small street corner pub with a single room which narrows to the rear. The bar is situated to one side, the front area is boarded changing to carpet towards the back bit. The pub has a locals regulars type of feel with people all seeming to know each other and engaging with the chap behind the bar who I took to be the landlord. Community activities include a Monday quiz and a Sunday meat raffle. A piano sits against a side wall so perhaps there is the occasional knees up and singalong, it feels like that sort of place, there is a dartboard opposite the bar on a side wall, live sport is shown however on Friday early evening I had to endure a commercial radio station.
Lower walls are wainscoted and light coloured, seating is firmly traditional, décor includes a large Fuller, Smith and Turner mirror, clearly an import in a former Gale's house but also a wonderful old Victorian map of Portsmouth, plus a few small framed prints of old manor houses. Beers nowadays from Fullers, Pride on two pumps plus Seafarers and HSB. A proper old fashioned street corner boozer.

A small single bar late Victorian Fullers (ex-Gales) corner pub in a busy high street area. The flooring is a mix of carpets and boards, there is a tv screen and a projector, and there are newspapers available. There is 'free' wifi but it is Fullers's own and you have to give them your mobile number to use it. I found the pub very homely and friendly and the staff helpful. Two ales on – I had a pint of Bengal Tiger which was in very good condition and served at the right temperature. Worth dropping in for a pint if passing.

The Red,White and Blue is a small corner pub in the southsea area of Portsmouth.
We went in a smallish room that i think was the main bar this room was very busy with friendly locals and also very smokey,we did'nt get a seat as it was so busy but we were happy enough propping the bar up.
I was pleased to visit this pub as it was a Gales tied house and there were four real ales on the bar i had a drink of Gales Best bitter and this was a very nice drink, the other beers were Gales HSB, Gales Winter brew and Gales Butser bitter.
We were quite happy having a drink in here late on a Friday night.
