A slightly disappointing pub, apparently from the latter part of the last century, with an understated 1990s sort of feel to the rather bare interior. It retains distinct lounge and public bars, both of which are fair-sized. The public side has a pool table and a very large sports screen, while the lounge has nothing much of note apart from a central fireplace which was popular at the time. Unsurprisingly the only ale on offer was Doom Bar, although Hobgoblin was promised in a day or two. In a rather tucked away location, and not really worth seeking out, although could have some potential.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Yacht Tavern
Located close to the Itchen waterfront, this pub retains separate lounge and public bars and features traditional furniture and decor in both. Front patio. Basic menu. Regular live music advertised. No obvious handpump, but Bombardier available. (NB - Review dates from August 2012.)
