An impressive-looking Georgian hotel which has a disappointingly small and under-stocked square bar. No real ale or anything else that looks at all appealing, no atmosphere, uncomfortable and not that welcoming. The bar is a bit of an afterthought when it comes to the décor, and it’s really not somewhere that inspires casual drinkers to pop in. More red dwarf than supernova.
