Ga Andrews left this review about Robin Hood

The Robin Hood is part of the Greene King and has recently been overtaken by new owners, so they were advertising new menus, new prices. I visited early lunchtime.
Although there were three real ale swan neck pumps, there was only Abbot and IPA, which was perfect for what I required. The lite bite menu was simple food, but all seemingly freshly made, I enjoyed a ploughman’s, with a decent cheddar and thick local ham slices. It was refreshing not to have balsamic salad as an accompaniment. But I’m not sure that it was worth the £6.95 that I paid for it, but that seems to be the going rate.
The interior is a proper country pub size and shape, modern decoration, with old photos, and chunky furniture, it is comfortable place and I suspect trade has always been good for evening meals, the menu looked very tempting. A friendly barman welcomed me and I enjoyed my time there.
They have a huge rear garden, but there didn’t seem enough seating for such a big place, and only 1 timber frame climbing frame for the children.
It’s a really pleasant place, and I certainly would go again, just a shame it was all Greene king ales.
