Alan Winfield left this review about The Horseshoe

The Horseshoe was a decent looking pub that was on the corner of a busy roundabout.
The pub looked like it was built in the 30s and it had a nice curved frontage, once inside there was one very large room which had a very long bar this room was very smart and had differnt drinking areas,we sat at the front of the pub watching the traffic go by.
This pub was a Whitbread tied house and there was only one real ale on here this was a beer called Donkeys Knob i dont know who brewed this beer but it was a pretty poor drink that i would'nt like to try again.
This was a nice comfortable pub to sit and relax in.
Sadly this pub has been pulled down in the name of progress and there is now an ugly looking office block standing on its site.
