The friendly young lady sitting at reception in the Falcon Hotel looked a little surprised when I walked in and asked where the bar was, if you can call it that. Stella and Surger Guinness were the only options so I gave my apologies and made a hasty retreat.
In every essence this is a hotel bar and if I was a guest I would walk over the road to the Swan Inn if I fancied a pint.
(My rating is for the bar and not the hotel, which I imagine is very nice)
