A large roadside pub on the way into Gosport, the Hoeford is looking a but scruffy and in need of redecoration both inside and out. There is a large single bar with 2 pool tables, lots of gaming machines, a dartboard and a raised stage for entertainment events. There is also a large dining room at the rear, and a big garden with a children's play area. It has a strong local customer base, and the reception is quite friendly. The food menu is basic pub grub, and there was one ale on - Bombardier - which was in good condition. It's worth dropping in for a pint and a snack before spending the day in the badlands of the Gosport one-way system.

A Fantastic Pub. Large, extremely friendly, big garden with a play area for children. A well covered smoking area outside which is well seated with infra-red heaters. Good nightly entertainment ranging from karoke to tuesday night poker league(free). High food quality and service. 2 well kept pool tables, pinball, jukebox and of course darts. excellent parking, very friendly staff. 1 big TV showing sky sports and several smaller tvs scattered around to acompany it. Averege to high variety of drinks avaliable from spirits to ales and soft drinks to hot drinks, reasonably priced and kept very clean.
