When we first visited thisp ub some years ago it was a busy place with a braod range of clientelle. Only one Ale on but the Ringwood was well kept. Our most recent visit there was a for sale sign up on the outside and in side there place was nearly devoid of customers even on a Saturday night. However the barman was friendly and the pint of Doom Bar we had was very good. A shame to see it so quiet as this pub has a really nice half timbered exterior with large glass bay windows all just waiting to be renovated and kept running as a pub. Its the only pub in this part of Eastleigh, diagonally across the road junction from the Holiday Inn - much better than a hotel bar!!
