The Fox and Hounds was closed for about 6 months. But has recently undergone a refurbishment and new management and has been open for the last couple of weeks, June 2009.
It is now called ‘The Fox’

17 Nov 2008. Reported on BBC South Today the owners [Enterprise Inns] have forcibly reclaimed lease, managers owe money and pub now shut, probably a temp glitch
