Moby Duck left this review about The Holly Bush

A good sized stand alone country pub, The Hollybush has a main drinking room as you enter through the main door, the bar ahead of you, there is a seperate room to the left, home to a pool table, and to your right another smaller room set for dining.Back in the main room the walls have a rather strange colour scheme of Burgundy,Mustard and White,White ceiling and wood floor with mixed seating ,high and low chairs and tables as well as some sofas, there are a couple of small real fires either end of the room that look like they see action in the winter. Despite the colour mix the pub did feel somewhat homely. On the bar itself reside four handpumps, disappointingly on one beer was on, even more disappointingly this was Doombar (needless to say I turned it into a shandy), the clips turned were Tribute,Abbot and Old Gold Hen, so nothing to get over excited about.
Its a pleasant enough pub but with the beer selection I would more than likely drive on past next time.
