E TA left this review about Station Hotel

As described below, it’s a basic town boozer, with no frills. It’s mainly for the locals, has pool, gaming machines and tv screens to keep people occupied, just as well as there’s no conversation to be had. Two ales on, Doombar and Landlord, both in poor condition. Not worth the effort.

Just as a footnote, it is named after the former Andover Town station which was adjacent until closed in the 1960s.

Quinno _ left this review about The Station Hotel

Pretty basic two-room boozer that hasn’t seen much in way of interior design since 1971. Fairly busy, though most patrons were congregated in the front area, while the back area (two pool tables and hideous white leather sofa) was largely empty along with the surprisingly large patio area. Despite the stupidly loud chart music we managed to snaffle a few quid out of the quizzer, located in in the small gap separating the bars as well as the entrance to the bogs which meant we were constantly in someones way. Two ales – Pride and Doom Bar – which were in surprisingly decent shape.

Despite the name, this pub isn’t exactly near the station which is ten minutes away up a hill.
